French National health fund gets a new audio branding

The national health fund is an important pillar and specificity of the French Republic. Its role is essential to the accessibility of health rights and services. In 2020, the institution rebranded its visual assets and started working on its sound identity. Its request for proposals was won by Carré Noir and Dissonances.

Act together, protect everyone

Dissonances created an original music, accurately reflecting the institution's values and positioning: "Act together, protect everyone". This music can express different messages and tones, sometimes serious and solemn, sometimes dynamic and enthusiastic. 

The fund's audio branding is reassuring, kind and universal. It is reminiscent of the institution's protective role and its capacity to take action. The creation was designed to reach the target audience of the institution, made of 60 millions policyholders, 400 000 health professionals and 85 000 employees.

A reassuring music

Dissonances' creation is empathic, warm and close to its audience. It expresses the institution's stability and longetivity. Electronic and orchestral styles meet in this enveloping atmosphere. The piano melody brings an universal and transgenerational dimension, supported by the regularity of a palm-muted guitar.  The signature is simple, clear and kind, which makes it work with any sort of message to the general public.

A famous sound in France

The health fund's audio branding was tested by BVA and received exceptional attribution rates, superior to 80%. One person out of two associates it with the institution spontaneously. The emotional engagement is strong: the creation evokes kindness, simplicity and trust.

The enthusiasm for this music was rewarded by a silver award at the TOP/COM 2021 ceremony in the "audio branding" category. 

The creation plays over every content published by the institution: TV campaigns, sound logo, radio campaigns, digital media... A specific format has been developed for telephony in order to shorten the perceived waiting time.
